About Us

Growing up, I spent the summers with my grandmother on her farm. She was an expert in sewing and crocheting, and I admired her beautiful quilts. She taught me these skills, and I made my first quilt when I was thirteen-years-old. Over the years I have developed a great passion for both quilting and art that includes a needle and thread.

Opening B-Still Designs was a dream-come-true. It gave me the opportunity to do what I loved and use my creativity to design quilt patterns, some of which have won awards. Quilt patterns are created from the heart, and each has a message of love to share with the person it was made for.

I love the outdoors, and find that I often bring nature into my designs. I’ve been doing needle turn appliqué for long time, but I’m always looking for new skills to learn, and I’m not afraid to try new things.

The mission of B-Still Designs is to encourage others to learn and love the hobby of quilting and sewing. God gives everyone special talents, and we have the opportunity to grow and nurture them.

Besides selling fabric, patterns and notions, I also do custom long arm quilting. I purchased my Gammill machine because I couldn’t keep up with hand quilting my own quilts, and I’ve enjoyed using it so much, I’ve started a long arm quilting service in my shop. I enjoy both freehand quilting and using my large assortment of pantographs and templates.
